The Greyhound's Skin

Many don't know that the Greyhound has a thin skin in comparison with other breeds of dog.  The lack of a thick fur means that these lovely pets are more vulnerable to injury.  This in turn, leads to vet bills that can be onerous for the uninsured Greyhound owner.

Obviousely, the answer is to ensure that you have your dog has the right cover so these distressing injuries don't hurt your wallet any more than necessary.

Vet fees are high nowadays and insurance isn't cheap, it's downright irresponsible however, to ever consider owning any pet without it being insured.  Remaining uninsured can lead to illnesses and injuries going unattended which is cruel in the extreme.  So please do the right thing, if not insured, please do it now.
