Hank is a very special dog. He is about 9 years old and was used as a mill stud dog. He was never touched with a kind hand and so is therefore very shy. Hank needs a bit of work. he doesnt mind being in the same room with people but prefers the "look but don't touch" approach. He is in great health and is very much like a cat. he likes windows and sun, and will find a spot in the room with you to pose. No children for Hank please. Margaret has had a long way to come. She was a mill mama, and for nearly a year, was so terrified that she bit when she was handled. Margaret is making great progress. She does not like to be handled, and is still fearful of touch. She will likely never be a lapdog, and will always be more comfortable with other dogs around. She now spends time in the living room with the rest of us, and is slowly getting comfortable with people. We can now bathe her without problem, but progress will be ongoing with her. She needs a family that is very patient and no fast movements. She's funny and engaged when you talk to her, and she has finally learned to play! After living most of her life in misery, her only contact with people those who took her babies away too soon, Margaret deserves a family who will give her a second chance. Italian Greyhound, Scarlett, was dropped of at a South Texas animal shelter. She is now lovingly fostered in a private home while we find the right family to adopt her. She is approximately 5 - 7 years old. She has some scars on her back but they do little to smudge her beauty. Her personality and spirit are unforgettable. Scarlett gets along well with other dogs. She is a little shy with new people, but a kind and gentle family will quickly win her loyalty and love.

As you can see from his movie, Joey is a very laid back Italian Greyhound. He loves affection, naps in sun puddles, and he is always ready for the next treat or meal. Joey is a wonderful little gentleman. He is about 9 years old, gets along with other dogs, and he is ready for adoption to a loving family.

Ginger is a beautiful Italian Greyhound. We are not sure, but she may not be a pure bred IG. However, her personality is totally IG. Ginger is five years old and chocolate brown, with a few white markings. She loves her peeps, enjoys walks in the neighborhood, and she is an all around good girl.

Italian Greyhound, Cecilia, is very loved by all who meet her. She currently resides with her adoring foster family in Houston, Texas. This charming girl gets along well with other dogs, loves her people, and is simply a darling Italian Greyhound waiting for the right family to adopt her.
