Margaret, Italian Greyhound Rescue

Margaret has had a long way to come. She was a mill mama, and for nearly a year, was so terrified that she bit when she was handled. Margaret is making great progress. She does not like to be handled, and is still fearful of touch. She will likely never be a lapdog, and will always be more comfortable with other dogs around. She now spends time in the living room with the rest of us, and is slowly getting comfortable with people. We can now bathe her without problem, but progress will be ongoing with her. She needs a family that is very patient and no fast movements. She's funny and engaged when you talk to her, and she has finally learned to play! After living most of her life in misery, her only contact with people those who took her babies away too soon, Margaret deserves a family who will give her a second chance. She is a bit of a challenge, because it's hard not to want to cuddle and comfort her. If you think your home and heart would be a fit for Margaret, please give Maggie a call and come to meet her. She will steal your heart with her expressive brown eyes. 918 814 6313

Learn about this incredible organization at www.milldogrescue.org. Many thanks to Fisher for the use of their music, including a song from their new CD "Water."

Believe in Something (National Mill Dog Rescue)

This was my first video for a group and it predates "Too Late." National Mill Dog Rescue is a Colorado-based group devoted to saving mill dogs who would otherwise be killed and devoted to educating the public so we can bring an end to this shameful industry.

National MillDog Rescue1

Lily and said, "We may have come 800 miles for one dog." That wasn't the case as Lily was worn out, with a rotted jaw and mammary tumors along her entire left side. She brought 40 dollars. I wouldn't sell her for a million dollars. She's brought joy and love to my life from the day she got here. On that day National Mill Dog Rescue began. We have pledged to put an end to the cruelty and evil of the commericial breeding industry. (Industry! Indeed.) Also more commonly known as puppy mills. We do ...
