Fife Greyhound Rescue held its first walk at Riverside Park in Glenrothes. Many of the dogs you see would not have been here today if it had not been for the kindness of Celia and Jimmy Fernie who run Greyhound Rescue Fife. And here they all are with their new Mum's and Dad's.

This is the trip in County Offaly to Portumna in County Galway where Pro Animale's Greyhound Sanctuary, Avalon Greyhound Rescue, is located on a large compound. There were 69 Greys there last time I visited. Thousands of Greyhounds are needlessly put to death each year. Your local shelters are grateful for any assistance you may provide. Thank you.
