The Fire Brigade bravely rescue a drowning dog from a frozen pond in Pearson Park Kingston Upon Hull. A long time ago, probably at least 10 years.

I can’t beleive no one clapped at the fireman that risked his life for the animal.

nice job but that rescuer is lucky he is not dead. if he fell in that water with that suit on (non ice-rescue suit) he was screwed. he would be a victim, and without anyone there ice rescue ready he could easily be hypothermic fast. good job but what a mess it couldve been

  • operationuranus says:

thank god, firmen arent pussies like some people posting on the internets

  • schristi2800 says:

His weinee was cold……. get me the hell outta here!

  • DirkSchooner says:

that pond is only about 3 foot deep at max, as you can see the dog has hind feet on floor, even if the fireman had fallen in, he could have got up and walked out.

  • TimshelDK says:

the water was 1 meter in dept

  • 331gt says:

Good point Dirk, I didnt even catch that. When i first watched it I just thought the dog was hanging on the ice ledge.

  • 331gt says:

And btw OperationUranus, I am a FF probably unlike yourself. Just constructive critcizism. Because their operation does go against everything your are taught to do. and for what its worth i am Nationally Certified for Ice/Water/Dive Rescue thru the USCG.

Sorry, accidentally deleted this well informed and thoughtful comment….

“you son of a bitch. and by the way to the person who filmed this, your evil too. you would like to see a dog die, so you could more views on your stupid youtube videos? people these days have no respect for anyone but themselves. that is why i personally would rather let a person die, then an animal.. especially one of you two. “

  • charliewilkinson says:

  • MichealLitteris says:

Oh the Poor thing! its screams sound like that of from a human mouth! apart from one bit it sounds like its freezing.. glad to see the poor little guy got out of there though, wouldnt it be weird if when he pulled it out its bottom half was a rubiks cube.. ! How puzzling a thought! Great vid.. love ya!

  • spending400000 says:

if you listen carefully to the pain ridden squeeks its trying to say there is a fire across the street. No one listens to dogs anymore. Three students died for the sake of 1 frozen pooch. Life is cruel in ice.
