No doubt, this breed of dog is in dire need of rescue.
I never realized the huge numbers of these dogs involved in racing that are discarded each year. This group GRWE is doing amazing work. Never support animals in entertainment. Do not visit dog/horseracing tacks, circuses, rodeos or any other venue that profits from animal entertainment.
It sounds like the plight of the greyhounds are diminishing and that is excellent news indeed.
