Harvey the Galgo gets a new home from the rescue centre
In October 2006 we saw a beautiful white greyhound (Galgos) at the kennels in Corvera Spain. He had been a stray for around 6 months before being taken in by the Local Noahs Arc animal charity. He was in a bad way, very thin and full of ticks and fleas. He was dehydrated and had cigarette burns to his rear quarters and also a burn to his skull! This dog is one of those that captures your heart as soon as you meet him. He looks deep into your eyes when you stroke him, it almost as though he ...
Great video Andy! Finally we get to see the history of the Greyt Harvey
Thanks for sharing!

After Andreas visit last week I am still on medication! Hope to be back to normal this time next year!
Harvey it looks like you have the world’s best sofa, a terrific sister, and awesome humans. this is a really terrifically uplifting video. Two Paws up!
Ahh what a beautiful film.. nice to see her recover Harveys a beautiful Grey.. x
A fantastic vid! Our female Grey is a rescue; and she was so depressed and so withdrawn, she would even run away from us because she was scared of being hurt. But now; Almost two years on she’s a totally different dog. I think back to how she used to be and I’m still in shock of how much she’s changed.
Little Harvey is lucky to have such great owners ^_^
what a lovely video, Harvey looks so happy with you, beautiful
i am so happy harvey has found such a lovely new home. i have read about the poor galgos and i’m so glad you rescued him. we have a retired racing greyhound we adopted in may of this year and it’s amazing how quickly and well they adapt! give harvey a big cuddle and kiss
This is such a touching video, he looks very happy and it’s lovely to see!
I´d also rescued a Galgo from Spain, it´s so good to see how the became lucky again and give them a lovely home! Adopt a Galgo!
VERY touching video!! We too have rescued dogs … EIGHT of them and they all come from Greece, another EU country where dogs (also other animals, but dogs especially) are grossly abused & neglected. There should be EU laws which would protect all animals from abuse and where encountered, the abusers should be punished severely. They say that a dog is ‘man’s best friend’ …. isn’t it a pity that it’s not also the other way around!!
God bless you!!!!!
Ist sooo wonderful to see the change in the Eyes of this adoable dag! I have 2 Rescue- Galgos myself and i am happy for each and every one, who finds a home and a Family who loves him.
Wishing you a long and happy time together!
